Who are we?

F That is a digital creative agency specialising in animation, working predominantly in the music industry. Some of the content we make includes official videos, AR filters, 2D and 3D animations, DSP assets, outdoor advertising, and short-form video content. Over the past five years we have firmly established ourselves as leading content creators in the music industry and beyond.

We work with a range of companies and organisations such as Warner Records, Polydor, Columbia, Island, AEG, Atlantic, Partisan, Deliveroo, WWF, and AWAL, among others. Some of our recent projects include Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, De La Soul, Doja Cat, Metallica, Dermot Kennedy, U2, Beyoncé, Gorillaz, Elton John, Ed Sheeran, as well as feature films such as Emelia Perez, Killers Of The Flower Moon, and Venom.

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Project Manager to join our Operations team and play a key role in delivering exceptional results for our growing roster of clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the music industry.

 

Required Experience:

  • Proven track record: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a successful history of managing complex projects and leading project teams.
  • Project management expertise: Proven ability to handle multiple priority projects concurrently, with a solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Resource and time management: Experienced in managing resources (time, budget, personnel) effectively to maximise output, meet deadlines, and protect project profit margins.
  • Team leadership: Experience managing and mentoring teams of 2 or more individuals, fostering collaboration and providing guidance to achieve project objectives.
  • Stakeholder management: Experience working effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, designers, and senior management.
  • Software proficiency: Proficiency in Google Sheets and project management tools such as Asana is essential, band a asic understanding of design software (e.g., Photoshop, After Effects) would be beneficial.

What does the role entail?

Project Management & Delivery:

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of all projects, collaborating closely with the Senior Account Manager (SAM) to exceed client expectations. This includes:

  • Shared responsibility for key clients: You’ll share responsibility with the SAM for high-priority and retainer clients. The SAM will focus on client communication and relationship management, while you lead project delivery, ensuring resources are optimised and projects are completed to the highest standards. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date retainer tracking sheets to monitor progress, budget allocation, and resource utilisation.
  • End-to-end project management: You’ll also have the opportunity to manage some projects from end-to-end, handling all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial client communication and creating Statements of Work (SOWs) to overseeing project delivery and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Mentoring project managers: You’ll provide guidance and support to Project Managers (PMs) on their projects, assisting with problem-solving, resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Resource management: You’ll be responsible for effectively managing and allocating resources, including designers and project budgets, to optimise project efficiency and ensure successful outcomes. This includes careful planning, monitoring workloads, and proactively addressing potential resource constraints to maintain profitability.
  • Quality assurance: You’ll maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and client expectations. You’ll be responsible for communicating client feedback to designers and managing the content update process.

 

Team & Operational Management:

  • Team leadership: You’ll delegate projects to Project Managers and Junior Project Managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster their professional development and ensure effective project execution.
  • Operational oversight: You’ll provide regular updates to the Head of Creative Operations on resourcing, capacity limits, and potential challenges in meeting project deadlines. This will ensure effective resource allocation and proactive management of workloads across the Operations and Design teams.
  • Process improvement: You’ll proactively seek opportunities to refine operational processes and streamline workflows within both the Project Management and Design teams. This includes identifying areas for improvement, proposing solutions, and contributing to the implementation of more efficient practices.
  • Project status updates: You’ll actively participate in Operations meetings, providing updates on project statuses, designer capacity, and any potential challenges or roadblocks. To ensure accurate reporting, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the operational records are fully up to date across all projects before each meeting. This ensures effective communication and collaboration across the team.

 

Designer Management:

  • Briefing: You’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Account Manager (SAM) to ensure designers have a clear understanding of project briefs and client expectations.
  • Feedback & amendments: You’ll be a key point of contact for designers, providing constructive feedback on their work and managing any necessary amendments. You’ll also distil and communicate client feedback clearly and effectively, ensuring designers have everything they need to deliver high-quality results.
  • Workload management: You’ll manage the daily workloads of designers, ensuring projects are appropriately staffed and deadlines are met. This involves careful planning, prioritising tasks, and proactively addressing any potential resource constraints.
